It was a marathon but Trevor Coss played 88 holes to win the 2020 Nevada State Net Amateur at Rio Secco, defeating Northern Nevada’s Jason Buckholz in 20 holes in the championship match.

“It was a grind, there’s no doubt about that,” Coss said. “And last night (Saturday) I wasn’t sure I would even be able to play. I woke up about 1:30 and my back and legs were cramping like crazy. I drank some water and went back to sleep. I got up this morning and I was OK and came out to the course.”
