Golf tournaments are "events". A community of golfers participate in the event. There is often a great deal of conversation surrounding a tournament before, during and after the event. The Wall enables that conversation to take place online and enables the community of members and non members alike to participate in an online conversation surrounding an event.
The SNGA Tournament Wall is similar to a discussion board or Facebook Wall. The Wall is also featured in a new Tournament Information Page section. The most recent post is displayed and a link provided to the full Wall.
The Wall is simple for everyone to use. Messages are listed in the order they were posted from most recent to oldest. The "Post a Message" link enables a new message to be quickly and easily posted.
The "Subscribe" link enables members and staff to be automatically notified each time a new message is posted.
Note that the name of the member that posted the message is displayed. This encourages people to post appropriate content.
2010 US Mid Amateur Sectional QualifierKevin Noto (69) and Dick Engel (70) are the two qualifiers for the USGA Mid Amateur from the Sectional Qualifier that was held at Highland Falls Golf Club on August 30th.
