When you become a member of the Southern Nevada Golf Association either as a club, course, or individual you begin a relationship with an organization dedicated to represent, promote, and serve the best interests of golf in the State of Nevada. The SNGA in conjunction with the United States Golf Association is proud to be involved in maintaining a positive image and upholding the integrity of the game of golf. There are many ways that the SNGA supports and benefits its member clubs and individual members.
Individual Member Benefits
A USGA Sanctioned Handicap with the licensed regional USGA affiliate.
Subscription to “The Grind” E-Newsletter, The Official Newsletter of the SNGA.
Handicap maintenance and online score posting at www.snga.org using the SNGA Handicap Network.
Eligibility to participate in one of the most comprehensive amateur tournament schedules in the Southwest as well as all State Championships.
With the addition of a Tour Membership, players can participate in the season and multi-season Player of the Year Points Events, Cobb-Whalen Cup Qualifying, and much more.
Eligible for Golf achievement recognition and certificates.

Member Club Promotion
As a member club of the Southern Nevada Golf Association you receive the opportunity to promote your club events and discounts (additional fees apply) on our website at www.snga.org and on The Grind E-Newsletter.
Championships
The SNGA holds over 25 championships a year that generate additional revenue for our member clubs. When you become a member club with The Southern Nevada you have the opportunity to host a championship.
PGM Volunteer Opportunities
The SNGA is involved with the UNLV PGM program helping develop the abilities of future PGA Professionals. PGM students and PGA professionals at your club have the opportunity to volunteer at our events and learn more about golf operations and tournament administration.
Course Ratings
The SNGA provides Course Ratings and evaluations on a schedule for all member clubs in the Association. These Course Ratings are performed per the USGA Course Rating Guidelines and the USGA Handicap System.
SNGA Handicap Network
The SNGA Handicap Network is a USGA Sanctioned Handicap System provided to our member clubs for the distribution and maintenance of Handicaps. Our member clubs are able to manage their members with state of the art software and generate additional revenue for their organization.
State and Federal Property Tax Involvement
The SNGA is involved in combating State and Federal Property Tax bills that negatively affect the golf course community. The SNGA is also involved in combating water issues that affect our member clubs.
