About SNGA Membership

There are 2 ways to Join the SNGA.

1. Southwest Golf Club

The Southwest Golf Club is an internet based club.  The SGC membership provides you with the same benefits as any member club in Southern Nevada with the added convenience of not being tied to any specific club.  You can post scores or review your handicap at any member club in Southern Nevada as well as online at www.snga.org.

2.  Members Club Affiliation

You can also join and establish a handicap with SNGA at any of our member clubs in Southern Nevada.  Establishing a membership with our member club entitles you to receive a handicap sanctioned by our association and the USGA as well as many other benefits that the club may offer.  Click Here for a list of clubs.

When you become a member of the Southern Nevada Golf Association either as a club, course, or individual you begin a relationship with an organization dedicated to represent, promote, and serve the best interests of golf in the State of Nevada. The SNGA in conjunction with the United States Golf Association is proud to be involved in maintaining a positive image and upholding the integrity of the game of golf. There are many ways that the SNGA supports and benefits its member clubs and individual members.

2010 US Mid Amateur Sectional Qualifier
Kevin Noto (69) and Dick Engel (70) are the two qualifiers for the USGA Mid Amateur from the Sectional Qualifier that was held at Highland Falls Golf Club on August 30th. The Mid Amateur will be held at Atlantic Golf Club in Bridgehampton New York in late September.

Nevada State Seniors

Cobb Whalen Cup Matches - UPDATE
After round 1 and 2 of the Cobb Whalen Cup Matches the South leads the North 16 1/2 points to 3 1/2 points. 20 1/2 points are needed to retain the Cup. The Individual matches begin at 7:54AM Monday Morning.

Cobb Whalen Cup Matches
The Cobb Whalen Cup Matches will be held on August 14-16 at Highland Falls Golf Club. It is Nevada's version of the Ryder Cup right here in Las Vegas with the best players from the SNGA vs. the best players from the NNGA. check back for more information.

Nevada State Match Play Championship
The Nevada State Match Play Championships will be conducted in Augusted for the Scratch and Net Divisions. The Scratch Event will be held on August 5-7 at Somersett Golf Club in Reno, NV. The Net Division will be held July 23-25 at Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, NV.
